Packages Group’s Karachi teams got together and conducted a mangrove plantation activity in collaboration with WWFOn this International Day for Biodiversity, Packages Group’s Karachi teams got together and conducted a mangrove plantation activity in collaboration with WWF – Pakistan for their Mangrove Restoration campaign of “Rang do Pakistan”. More than 40 employees from our Karachi entities including IGI, Packages Limited, Packages Convertors Limited, Tri-Pack Films, and others planted 6000 mangroves at the WWF Wetlands Center in Karachi, along with a beach cleanup activity. A session on the importance and role played by mangroves in reducing the impact of climate change and protecting biodiversity and livelihoods was also conducted.SDG 13, 14, 15, 17
