Packages Group participated in the multi-stakeholder convening of the CoRe Alliance, Baby Food & Nutrition Council, and Fruit Juice CouncilPackages Group participated in the multi-stakeholder convening of the CoRe Alliance, Baby Food & Nutrition Council, and Fruit Juice Council, represented by Mr. Khalid Abdul Quddus (Head of Packaging, PCL) and Ms. Ayesha Aziz (Group Manager Sustainability). The event brought together political leaders, federal and provincial agencies, the private sector, and the media to discuss regulatory efficiency and business facilitation.Inaugurated by Mr. Ali Pervaiz, Minister of Revenue, the event focused on:• Regulatory Harmonization, Digital Solutions & Export Facilitation• Challenges of Parallel Trade & Counterfeit Products• Packaging & Environmental Regulations: Complexities & OpportunitiesGovernment bodies such as SIFC, BOI, PSQCA, FBR, the Ministry of Commerce, all Provincial Food Authorities, and environmental authorities actively participated. A key outcome was a consensus on smart, harmonized environmental regulations and provincial tax reforms to drive sustainability, compliance, and ease of doing business.As a founding member of the CoRe (Collect and Recycle) Alliance, Packages Group has been actively promoting circular economy initiatives within Pakistan since 2018.
