On May 9th, 2024, the management at Packages Group conducted a workshop led by Nazish Shekha and Sameen Akhund from CERB, Pakistan Business Council. The workshop focused on achieving the following objectives:-Understanding the science of climate change and its local implications.Embracing strategies for managing climate change risks.-Familiarizing with upcoming climate change regulations, including IFRS S2.Introducing effective tools for risk management-Participants gained tools to integrate climate risk management into their strategies, with the workshop’s core being the Toolkit developed by PBC and GIZ, enabling proactive approaches to address climate risks and unlock sustainable growth.We extend a heartfelt thank you to all participants and facilitators for their contributions to this stride towards a greener, more resilient future.
